I have never practiced the song before in my life, but because our ward is low on numbers I decided to join them and sing. The whole night was awesome and brought the Christmas Spirit. But the topper of the whole night was during the last song. The whole stake stood up to sing "Hallelujah" from Handle's Messiah. And Jason was just belting it out, (not on key I might add) and when the song ended, the conductor cut everyone off, and it went silent.... All but Jason. And then he added an extra hallelujah! I just about died. I laughed so hard I almost peed my pants on the way to the car. It might be best if they don't ask him to be in the choir.

Seriously what has happened to the 12 years in between? I realized Jayne doesn't get a lot of opportunities to do the same things I did with the kids when I was a younger mom. Now we barely have enough time to just get through our day as it is. Finally I had to bring her home because she was bullying everyone there. She didn't care what the age or size of the kids were, she would walk right up to them and let them have it. I spent the whole time apologizing to other parents for her pulling their hair or hitting them. After being completely embarrassed I decided it was time to pack it up and head back home. Today I got to be baptized and confirmed for her, do her initatory, endowment, and then seal her to her husband George. It was an expierence I will never forget!
2. I snuck Max out of school at lunch to come home and tend Jayne so I could go to the temple.
3. I saw my Mom working at the Provo Temple and she looked so beautiful all in white. It was fun to see her in action there and meet some of her friends. I know that is a big job she has every week there. She got to come and do part of the initiatory for me and it was so neat. She is such a great example to me and I love her!
4. Then Jason and I went to the Mt. Timpanogos Temple to do the endowment and sealing. I love going to the temple with him! It was awesome to see the millions of people that were there from our ward and stake. I know the temple workers were so exhausted. My favorite part was the sealing. It has been a long time since I have done that. Jason said that we renewed our vows. I felt the presence of those on the other side. Gertrude? My Grandpa?

It is so hard to watch the kids that lose every time.
4. We took the kids to the Haunted Train tonight. The wait was over an hour but ended up to be worth it. The kids loved it and every year I am amazed at how much time and effort they put into it.
5. Asking Jayne if she wants to ride the train again and her shaking her head NO!

Wednesday

1. Lucy has been trying to get another "party" planned here before school with her friends. I told her that today wasn't a good day, but it just worked out that one by one all of her friends came over and Lucy said "YES! I get my party after all." So we made lunch for them and they colored Halloween pictures.
2. I went to lunch with some friends to finally celebrate Hillary's birthday.
3. I got a massage and it was heavenly! Tanya booked a massage for me today as a birthday gift and it was so much fun. Thanks Tanya!

1. Angels helping us get ready for church. Jason and I walked in from our morning meetings at about 10:30. Church starts at 11:00 and no one was slightly ready, the house was a bomb, and our home teachers were at our house for our appointment that we forgot about. They stayed for about 10 minutes, and then we ran around the house frantically and made it to church with time to spare.
2. We got the Family History Center after all today for our lesson and it all worked out okay after a little stress.

I'd like to tell you that it was so good but I'm not sure, I may have fallen asleep. I honestly have a sleeping problem. The lights dim and it is more than I can take. He kept insisting on waiting until it was done to make a decision. Of course he wanted to be the main one in charge and painting and didn't want me to help out much. Which worked out because Jayne didn't feel too good so I spent most of the time holding her and trying to get her to sleep. Abbie's testimony about being baptized was perfect and Max was still happy to be up there. I told Jason that this is probably his last... next year I am betting that he will think he is to cool. I am holding on to his age 10 with everything I have. 11 just seems different. And I want him to be my "little" boy. It is slipping away faster than I can bear. Emilee liked watching it from the congregation.
