She screamed "medicine" all night and when we would ask her what hurt she would say "my body". The worst part was that I took 2 NyQuil pills before bed because I have this head cold and didn't sleep last night. So I felt drunk and so out of it while she was going crazy.

The kids were exhausted but Jason and I were loving every second. We went on the Jungle Safari in the dark which Jayne loved, and then one last ride on pirates. The girls kept asking Jason if we were lost because it took so long and they didn't figure it out until we pulled up to our hotel, and the they just screamed!!!

  3. Jayne is finally feeling like herself again. She is happy, talking, and back to causing trouble.

  4. The kids were asleep in the car as we passed St. George. So when they woke up in Vegas they were so confused. Emilee was saying, St. George has gotten so much bigger since we were last here, it looks like Los Vegas. Abbie was so disappointed and said, "I hate this place, it stinks and the people are scary. 1. 1 Shauna! She brightened my day by stopping by out of the blue with lunch for me from Kneaders. If she only knew how much that meant to me. I was feeling down and so trapped in the house and just seeing her and knowing that she was thinking of me made my day. She also took my carpool to kindergarten for me. She is one of the most thoughtful people I have ever known.

  2. I thought that maybe Jayne would like to go for a drive in the car to get out for a minute. We were gone for 3 minutes and she was begging for a nap in her bed. The minute I turned around and got her home she threw up everywhere. I can't figure out why her little body can't fight this flu off like the rest of my kids.

  3. Heather called and invited us to go out to Happy Sumo with them. We put Jayne to sleep and Abbie stayed with her. The minute I got home I went to get Jayne from Abbie and she threw up all over Abbie's hair and everything.

  4. I am so GRATEFUL that I get to stay home and take care of my kids when they are sick. I wouldn't want anyone else to do it but me! Today while I was laying by her, she said all on her own, "Mom, I love you!" I LOVE HER!

  1. Emilee wanted to take her math test before school today because she was getting checked out early for her track meet. I went down stairs to make sure she was up and found her on the bathroom floor so sick. She was devastated about missing her track meet. So she spent the day in my bed sleeping it off and I hope she will feel better tomorrow.

  2. Jayne is of course sick again too. She threw up a couple of times last night and 200 times today. She doesn't understand that when she eats or drinks something it will just come back up. She keeps sticking her head under the tub faucet to get a drink because she is so thirsty. I have spent a good portion of my day holding her, changing sheets, diapers, & cleaning up puke.

We looked at our kids baby pictures today and of course I cried. I don't know why I am so emotional and fragile lately. Time is flying by and I don't like it. I don't want Em to be a teenager, and I don't want Jayne to grow up one more day. This life is interesting.

  7. Going to the mall with my girls during the Priesthood session. Em got her some new Toms with her birthday money. We ate at the food court and played at the tree. The best part was that we ran into the Clarks!

The road was blocked off, cops and ambulances, and a million search and rescue people were up on the mountain behind us. Now if I just new what was going on. Jayne is still talking about the helicopters. All the craziness kinda scared her.

  4. The most beautiful weather of the year!!!! Just perfect for Emilee's party.

  5. Em had 20 friends, both boys and girls over for her 13th Birthday Party. She came home from school with half of the party and I was just a little MAD. The party didn't start until 6 but she brought home a group of kids at 2:30. Jason came home early to help me, and then he was in charge of the night. They had a BBQ, relay races, scavenger hunt, & night games. I think Emilee had a great time. It was a cute group of kids. It was fun to watch Jason as the Chaperon. He wanted everyone gone by 9:00PM but Em wasn't having it. At 10:00 He started kicking people out! Not only did we have all of Emilee's friends, but Abbie, Lucy & Max had all of their friends over too. We were glad when it was over!
