Wednesday

October 25

1. Lucy has been trying to get another "party" planned here before school with her friends. I told her that today wasn't a good day, but it just worked out that one by one all of her friends came over and Lucy said "YES! I get my party after all." So we made lunch for them and they colored Halloween pictures.
2. I went to lunch with some friends to finally celebrate Hillary's birthday.
3. I got a massage and it was heavenly! Tanya booked a massage for me today as a birthday gift and it was so much fun. Thanks Tanya!
4. Watching the dark clouds move across the sky tonight. It was so amazing and I could feel the storm coming in.
5. Jason and Max working diligently on their cars for the Pinewood Derby.

Monday

October 24

1. Angels helping us get ready for church. Jason and I walked in from our morning meetings at about 10:30. Church starts at 11:00 and no one was slightly ready, the house was a bomb, and our home teachers were at our house for our appointment that we forgot about. They stayed for about 10 minutes, and then we ran around the house frantically and made it to church with time to spare.
2. We got the Family History Center after all today for our lesson and it all worked out okay after a little stress.

4. I just love to watch Emilee play volleyball! I almost always start to cry at every game. I want her to have something that she loves and feels confident at.
5. DATE NIGHT! I look forward to going out with Jason every week. Tonight we went to Carabas and had the best meal we've ever had. We sat at the bar and the watched the Pizza lady make the yummiest pizzas. She snuck us the most delicious apple dessert ever. Then we went and saw Secretariat. I'd like to tell you that it was so good but I'm not sure, I may have fallen asleep. I honestly have a sleeping problem. The lights dim and it is more than I can take. I promised I wouldn't, and no matter how hard I'd fight it my eyes would just close.

2. The kids Spooktacular at the school. Everyone that helps put it on every year. It is my kids favorite activity of the year.

5. Emilee not giving up on studying for her Spanish test. She hates Spanish and went to bed in tears so frustrated. Then she got back up @ 10:30 and came back up stairs and we studied more. I hope she did alright!

He kept insisting on waiting until it was done to make a decision. Of course he wanted to be the main one in charge and painting and didn't want me to help out much. Which worked out because Jayne didn't feel too good so I spent most of the time holding her and trying to get her to sleep. Our kids are so concerned with the color and swear they will never bring their friends over again if it looks like that.
