1. Going to the temple with Jason. 2. JCW'shamburgers and cheese fries. 3. Delivering cookies to some friends. 4. Going to visit my Grandma B. 5. Carpooling with Patricia.
"Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confussion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow." - Melody Beattie
Life Motto
"I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails. I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp. I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbors children. I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden. I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and the tears of a friend on my shoulder. I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived." — Marjorie Pay Hinckley
I feel like the luckiest girl alive! My life is FULL to say the least. I am a busy Mom of 5 incredible kids with whom I am lucky enough to stay home with everyday. I am married to my incredibly good looking husband who makes my life happy.
Having a family to love and take care of is the best part of life. I have a feeling that these crazy days will be gone much too quickly, so for now I am trying to soak it all in and find ... JOY in my Journey! I don't want to take for granted the daily blessings that are mine. This graditude journal is my attempt to acknowledge my abudance, to count my MANY blessings, and to find and remember the little things of each day that make me happy.
