2. While Jason and I were at ward council this morning Jayne had a messy diaper. She took matters into her own hands and decided to change her bum. She took off the poopy diaper threw it into the bathroom garbage, tried to put on a clean one, and when that didn't work she left that one (now gross) on the ground and just put back on her jammie pants, poopy bum and all. The best part was Jason was the one who found the mess and cleaned it all up.
3. Jayne wakes up on Sunday mornings asking to go to her daddy's class. He takes her and it is so nice!

My back was hurting and I was dragging my feet. Staying home was fine with me! With a little persuading we ended up at the pool and it was one of my favorite nights of all nights! Jason and Emilee went to a YM/YW missionary month activity together and Max went swimming with the scouts. So it was just me and the 3 little girls.
2. The girls packed up their stuff at lightening speed and were in the suits and waiting in the car. Once we got there they ran all the way inside SO EXCITED!!
3. I loved watching Abbie and Lucy play together. If there wasn't anyone else in the world but each other, they would be perfectly happy. They laughed and swam together like best friends. They went down the slide 200 times, and came up each time laughing like it was the first.
4. Jayne wasn't sure she liked it. I don't know if it's because she is still trying to feel better or if it was because she hadn't been swimming in forever. Either way I just sat with her on my lap the whole time. She stayed entertained by watching her two big sisters.

5. We made it home safe tonight. After Max's late night game in Springville the roads were icy and I was scared to death. I think I said 5 prayers between the ride to and from. I love nights with my whole family!

4. I made it out of the mall with Ryder and Jayne. I have told Jason several times lately that I wish Jayne had a twin brother. I think the Lord showed me today why he only sent me one. I took them both to the mall to play on the tree while Jeanette was helping at the school. Ryder took off clear to the other end of the mall and after I grabbed Jayne and tried to chase him I couldn't catch him. By the time I finally caught him at the other end I had completely peed my pants.
5. I went to the Chiropractor and I think he is going to be able to help me.
6. Missionary Month has started and tonight we went with Emilee to the MTC night. She got her call to Ecuador. I hope this will be a good experience for her!

March 1

1. Yeah, March is here!! Which means we are heading towards warmer weather and longer days!
2. It felt like Spring today. The sunshine was so beautiful that we had to take full advantage of it and headed to the Discovery park. Jayne, Lucy, Max, and I had the best afternoon! I loved watching them all play together so good, listening to them laugh, and feeling the sun on my face. It was as if Jayne was rediscovering the park for the first time. We were having such a great time that we stayed way past the time for Lucy to go Kindergarten. I pretended that I lost track of time when I actually knew full well that school was starting and just enjoyed the moment. (Lucy did eventually make it to school, just over an hour late.)
3. A rootbeer freeze at Taco Amigo with the kids after the park.
4. Getting all of Max's homework done during the day instead of rushed at night.
5. Emilee made the sprint team!!!!! Jason and I went over to watch her tryouts and wow is she lightening fast. She had the 2nd fasted time in all the 7th, 8th, & 9th graders. We were the only parents in the stands, and when her friends asked her why we were there I heard her funny response. "Hello, have you met my dad? Do you really think he would ever miss something like this?" It made me laugh and happy. I'm glad she knows that we wouldn't miss it for the world! Jason called us 3 times just on way over to the school telling us to hurry!!! He wanted her there early stretching out and didn't want her to miss a thing. It's going to be fun to watch her this spring!!

Tuesday

February 28

1. Mom and Dad have been married for 39 Years today. I love them. My mom has always been the best example to me of being a great wife. I hope Jason and I can have 39 happy years of marriage.
2. I spent a full day with Max. Last night while Jason and I were in bed I told him how grateful I was for healthy kids. I was telling him that no one had really been sick this winter and what a blessing it was. Of course he responded "knock on wood." I didn't and Max came in my room early this morning crying with a fever. We had a fun day together anyhow. I rented Megamind, helped him with homework, and watched him shoot baskets for a bit. I LOVE that kid.
3. Brooke H. brought over yummy red velvet cupcakes to tell me thank you for breakfast on Saturday. She is always so thoughtful!
4. I LOVE Jason! He came home from work, took one look at me and told me to lay down and then he rubbed my back. We all went to his first tournament game tonight and he was awesome. No one can stop him underneath.
5. Going with Emilee to pick out new track shoes. She says they are "sick". Track tryouts are tomorrow and my fingers are crossed. She needs something to love and keep her busy.
