May 26

1. Having my mom come to field day.
2. Emilee being so brave and finishing the race when she was hurt.
3. Max getting his victory.
4. Abbie being the cute happy daughter that she is and zooming across that finish line with everything she had.
5. Jason being there with me to take Emilee to the Insta Care for stitches.
6. Boxing at the church with Tara and some friends. Making some unforgettable memories.
7. Lucy being the CUTEST preschooler there ever was and being so grateful that I kept her at Miss Misti's this year.
8. Jeanette keeping Lucy at the movie so I could go check on Em.
9. Max's football banquet is over.
10. Another Day is done and a new start tomorrow.

Tuesday

May 25

1. Riding in the truck early morning with Jay to the Gym.
2. Shauna for taking Lucy to Chucke Cheeses. She is super Mom!
3. The kids got to go swimming with their school at the Lindon Pool. (It was 60 degrees burr!)
4. Max catching the pop fly in the outfield.
5. The Talent show for Pack Meeting tonight. Max dribbled his ball, and played the piano??? He just came up with his song on his own. (Peter Peter Pumpkin Eater) Lucy drew two pictures on the chalk board with chalk (Pretty cute). And Gabby did a round off, cart wheel, the splits, and sang twinkle twinkle with her mouth closed. Talk about family talent!!!!

May 24

1. A full day watching all of my kids at school today.
2. Emilee looked so cute and happy for graduation. And she got the most Athletic Girl award in the 6th grade. Who knew? I love her!
3. Max's CUTE talent show. He dribbled his basketball like a little star - through his legs, around his back, and even spun it on his finger. Love him! And then of course he helped out a few friends with their talents and threw the football to them and did a skit. How did I get so lucky to get my boy? His award at his assembly was "Best Team Leader."
4. Abbie's cute play. She wore her cowboy hat, bandanna and was the only one who had all of her lines memorized. She just beamed when Jason and I walked in to her class and did great. The only mishap was when Jayne ran right out in the middle of the play and Abbie yelled..."Mom!" It was impossible to keep Jayne contained for the 5 hours we were at the school! I am still tired and frazzled from chasing her.
Oh, And her award was the "Best Attitude" award! And she does!!!!
5. Watching the Proposal with Jason tonight. He can always sense when I need a little extra TLC.
6. Taking the kids to practice their mile run for the Marathon. Jason was sure he could beat them and was shocked when he couldn't. It made everyone sick running so hard after a big dinner.

Sunday

May 23

1. Abbie wearing Lucy's flip flops to church because we couldn't find ANYTHING else. How can you have 1 shoe each of 4 pairs of shoes? It happens every Sunday.
2. The pretty arrangement of "I Stand All Amazed" that we sang today in Sacrament Meeting.
3. Listening to Jason talk in our combined meeting today about the importance of the Sacrament and Sacrament Meeting.
4. My Emilee was in the meeting with us listening.
5. The Conference Ensign.
6. Jason talking to the kids tonight about keeping the Sabbath Day Holy.

May 22

1. Jennifer. For always being such a loyal, thoughtful, & hilarious friend.
2. Soccer games cancelled again so we didn't have to sit all day in the cold.
3. Jason worked all day up at the Stake Property at Aspen Lakes.
4. An Afternoon of shopping for a graduation dress and swimsuit with Em.
5. Getting all my kids to work this morning to get our house clean.
6. A night with Jason!!!! Nordstrom Rack and the Cheesecake Factory. I love him! I love red velevet Cheesecake!
7. Elder Haight's talk about his experience seeing the Savior's life. So Powerful!!! (November 1989)

May 21

1. Getting up early with Jason as he got ready for his "Corporate Challenge" at UVU. He was so excited packing his bag and heading out for a full day of nothing he loves more... Athletic Competition!
2. Going with Christy up to see Catherine for her Birthday.
3. Brick Oven with Jason and Jayne.
4. McSpaddens for hosting the funnest late night ever with all 4 of my kids.
5. Working on my ideas and finding some answers.

Friday

May 20

1. A good walk with Jayne to think.
2. Talking to Connie D.
3. Max's awesome hit tonight in his baseball game.
4. Taking Lucy to get a treat because she is our special star of the week! And she makes sure she is getting royal treatment everyday.
5. Zumba with Wendy. Feeling so uncoordinated and listening to Jeanette laugh the whole way through.

May 19

1. School is in for a little longer.
2. I am healthy as a horse. No diabetes, thyroid problems, no high cholesterol.
3. Jason can help me out (sometimes) when I have an appointment.
4. Eye Drop samples from Jim for Abbie's pink eye.
5. A late night drop off of the cutest fairy coloring book and crayons for Lucy from her Grandma Clark.

Wednesday

May 18

1. Jamie is married to her perfect match. Matt!
2. Amoxicillian again for my Lucy's strep.
3. Lucy is such a strong and brave girl. When I told her she was getting a shot she said "That's okay, can I only get one?" To bad the doctor wouldn't give her one.
4. Learning about Gardening from Sarah A. She is so talented and made me want to plant some of my own herbs and veggies.
5. Tanya is Counselor over Relief Society Meetings.
6. Max's game got rained out so I didn't have to miss it.

Tuesday

May 17

1. Google.
2. Lucy skipping school today and going with me to try on $9 swimsuits at Old Navy. She looked so cute in all of them.
3. Helping Lucy with her homework packet.
4. Calling Jason when I need to let out all of my frustrations and knowing he will listen.
5. Dinner with the best friends in the world. Laughing, crying, and talking until after 11:00 PM when they are throwing us out of the Olive Garden. And then coming home to a note from Jason.
7. Sleeping with the windows open and listening the the birds and rain.
8. 80 degree weather.

Monday

May 16

1. The beautiful weather!!!
2. The Yarro's for entertaining all the kids every Sunday afternoon while we are at meetings.
3. Melisa for making a yummy dinner.
4. Sunday Night visiting out in our yard and Shauna's dessert.
5. Jason for another Sunday house cleaning. He cleaned and vacuumed our bedroom and the whole main floor. I love him.

May 15

1. All the kids had goals and victory's in Soccer. It was so great to see Emilee score 2- she was so proud!
2. Spring Football is officially over.
3. Finishing our weeding and putting down mulch. Are yard is starting to finally look green and pretty.
4. A late date with Jason and laughing about Hunter and Jaden's Punt.
5. Walmart is open late for binki and bottle runs.

May 14

1. Getting my yard almost all weeded.
2. Jason has a son to go to Fathers and Sons with. This year they just went to see Iron Man because it was to cold.
3. A little time to myself because my girls all had parties to go to.
4. My Mom for taking Emilee on a date.
5. Packing Max an extra good lunch for his field trip.

May 13

1. I get to stay home and be with my kids everyday.
2. Jayne blowing kisses.
3. All my kids cleaned their rooms.
4. A day off. No baseball, football, dance.
5. Living in Utah.

Thursday

May 12

1. A good movie finally in the gym's theater room.
2. Jason coming home to watch Jayne so I could go to Max's class.
3. The cutest date in the world to 3rd Grade Mother's Tea. Max dressed himself this morning in the cutest shirt and tie all ready for the big event. I got the cutest card, coupon book, and flower pot in the world from him. They went all out with yummy food, games, skits, and a slide show. I LOVE my Max!!!!!

Tuesday

May 11

1. Jamie has Matt and remembering back to that snowy fun wedding day.
2. That my kids haven't ever had a bad reaction to their immunizations. I took Jayne for her 15 month check up today and feel so grateful that she is so healthy and growing just perfect.
3. All of the millions of questions Lucy asks everyday.
ex. Are bats real? How about Vampires and skeletons?
4. Talking to Kelly on the phone about ways to make millions.
5. My mom coming over with her pioneer story, lilacs, and to work on her blog.
6. Ward members coming over to clean to earn money for brother Cook. Clean blinds, baseboards, and the Bishop carrying Lucy on his shoulders as both of them dusted.

May 10

1. Lucy climbing in bed with me early every morning to snuggle.
2. My first experience at a Mexican Market.
3. Miller's sending dinner home with Jason tonight. Steaks and cheesy potatoes.
4. Jason finding a way to make Emilee feel better after she was so upset about missing the dance concert tonight.
5. Farrs Ice Cream bar with the kids tonight for FHE.

Monday

May 9

1. Being a mother!!!!
2. Having the 5 best kids in the world.
3. Waking up to breakfast made, a clean house, and mothers day cards.
4. The Gale's talks.
5. Going up the canyon as a family for a bike ride/walk.
6. The beautiful weather.
7. Max giving up his bike because I had blisters from walking. So I rode his bike back and he ran.
8. Jason!!!!
9. The beautiful mountains we live so close to and Bridal Veil Falls.
10. Being raised by the best mom in the world! Her great example and unconditional love.
11. The yummiest pasta dinner I have ever tasted.
12. Watching Jayne run free up at Wallsburg.

15. Listening to Jason do sharing time in Primary.

May 8

1. Soccer season has begun
2. Matt, Shauna, & Dan for coaching my kids.
3. Emilee found a friend on her team.
4. Watching all of kids score goals.
5. Max made it into the playoffs for Football. (I can't decide if I am grateful for that or not.)
6. Getting to Lay in bed tonight to watch the Jazz because I had such a bad headache.

May 7

1. Mommy Muffin Day with Lucy!!! Her cute song, the key chain and flower pot she made me.
2. That I decided to go with Miss Misti this year.
3. Date night with Yarros. We always go out to celebrate Jason and Colett's birthday together.
4. That I beat Jason in bowling.
5. Emilee telling me that bowling is just for teenagers.

Friday

May 6

1. The dollar store for teacher appreciation gifts.
2. No homework because of school testing this week.
3. Grilling, makes for much easier dinners.
4. Getting rid of all my unmatched socks in the house.
5. Watching Avatar as a family in the basement. Of course I fell asleep. I don't know why I am always so stinkin' tired.

Thursday

May 5

1. Watching Lucy at her first soccer practice. Excited doesn't even explain it. She has been waiting patiently for years to have her turn.
2. 1st night of Max's little league started tonight.
3. Buying Max has first cup. He loved it.
4. Throwing the ball after the game with Max in the back yard and a few helpful tips from our Bishop.
5. The cutest mother's day flower pot with a flower pen from Abbie!
6. The nicest note from Max inviting me to the Mother's tea.

Wednesday

May 4

1. The best husband in the world!!! His incredibly good looks, his integrity, his hard work, & his fun happy personality.
2. Having him home for waffles and whip cream and jam this morning.
3. Going to Abbie's class to help out during the teacher appreciation breakfast.
4. Craig and Teresa coming over for Chocolate Sundae Pie.
5. Phone calls from Jason all day.
6. My memory of celebrating his 17th birthday at Los Hermanos with his parents.
7. And my memory of dropping him off at the MTC on his 19th birthday.
8. How cute he looked in his new birthday shirt today.
9. Colett and what a great friend she is.
10. Brick Oven Pizza and rootbeer here at the house. (It is getting to hard to really celebrate anything with so many activities going on. Tonight was the girls end of year dance party, baseball, scouts, Young Women's. So we just did our best to celebrate here.
11. Being so happily married to my best friend.

May 3

1. Getting the house all clean and decorated for Jason.
2. Going to see Clash of the Titans with the whole family for Jason's B-day. I snuck out with Jayne and watched part of the Last Song.
3. How much my kids love Jason.
4. Having time with just Jayne to get my errands done.

May 2

1. Coming home from welfare meeting this morning to Lucy in her soccer cleats, shin guards, and all ready to play soccer. When she saw me in my church dress and realized it was Sunday she started to cry and said "I don't want it to be Sunday."
2. Her pleadings every Sunday during Sacrament to please let her go home and miss her class.
3. Going in to YW's with Emilee and giving a little part of the lesson.
4. The story of the Stripling Warriors and their courage and unwavering faith.
5. Jason staying up late to help me clean out cupboards, mop the floor, and get our disastrous house cleaned up.

May 1

1. Jason and I scrubbing the church bathrooms together early this morning.
2. The soccer games were cancelled and we didn't have to sit in the freezing rain all day.
3. Max's awesome victory over the 1st place team.
4. Max's cute comment..."It was the right thing to do, just probably not the right place."
5. A little time to myself while waiting in the car to read and think.

April 30

1. My Emilee's home! I was so excited to see her and hear how everything went.
2. Her big hug after she got off the bus.
3. The YW bake sale auction and dinner was a success.
4. Watching Jason try to dance with the Islanders on the stage for the ward party. He dances just like his dad.
5. The Jazz are moving on to round 2.

April 29

1. Lindon, "a little bit of country."
2. The last day of carpooling to dance for a bit.
3. A yard for my kids to play in.
4. Our finished basement.
5. Canceled football scrimmage so Jason could go with me to our Ma and Pa training.
